Vitosol 200 F: “Very good”
In the 2008 Stiftung Warentest (Industrial Goods Test), the Vitosol F-200 was rated “very good” compared to eleven other solar systems. The Vitosol 200 F high-performance plate collector with a highly selective coated copper absorber is a solution for hot water heating. On average, it can save up to 60 percent of the energy used to heat water per year.
Easy to assemble
Vitosol flat plate is easy to install. Up to ten collectors can be securely connected in parallel using flexible stainless steel corrugated connecting pipes. The easy-to-install Viessmann fastening system with static-tested and corrosion-resistant parts made of stainless steel and aluminum is the same for all Viessmann collectors. Slab collectors are universally suitable for installation on the roof, built-in to the roof and for free-standing installation, such as on flat roofs. When placed horizontally or vertically, for example on the facade of a building, it is recommended to increase the surface of the collector by 20 percent compared to a conventional roof-mounted collector.
Good looking frame
The collector attracts with its attractive design. By default, the RAL 8019 frame is brown and fits well on almost any roof surface. Optionally, the frame can be supplied in all RAL colors. In addition, side covers can be selected, which ensure a harmonious transition from the collector to the roof. The large-format collector in a single plate is delivered in a polished aluminum frame, but can also be painted in any RAL color.
Well sealed and good thermal insulation
Comprehensive bent aluminum frame and seamless glass seal guarantee long service life and high collector stability. It also prevents water from accumulating and freezing on the collector surface. The back plate is resistant to punctures and corrosion. Effective thermal insulation reduces heat loss, especially during the transition period and in winter.
